Over the past few days my phone has been freezing up on me so I decided to wipe it and start fresh. I was running EC01, kangbang.

I odin'd back to DL09 and OTAd to EC03.
Odin'd CMW ALL....

I boot into recovery and Im at blue. I hit apply update zip to get to red and I get an andriod with a triangle and an exclamation point in it. then it freezes.

Any advice?

This is what I get when I hit apply sdcard:update.zip
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip
(status2)
Installation aborted

Put KB on root of SD card, Reodin cmw from here[RECOVERY][ODIN][ZIP][4.22.11]Voodoo CWM 3.x UPDATED 5.8.11 - xda-developers get the latest cwm 3.x than odin that, put battery back in, three finger salute your phone to cmw, then flash KB all should be fine

KB does the voodoo conversion automatically.

OK I did exactly what you said. I odined CWM voodoo.....booted directed into red CWM, wiped data, cache, d cache and went to voodoo and disabled it. (like Ihad done before when I flashed KB) now when I boot up it still brings me to blue, and when I hit apply update, I get the same triangle with ! in it

So I can't even flash kb

EDIT....I re odined CWM, and left the voodoo alone. I never heard the andriod voice that everyone is talking about. flashed KB waiting to boot up now.... see what happens now.

Do the three finger salute into red cwm. Once there wipe all again and go to install from zip. Then once there select the install for the KB rom. It seems as if you are trying to install from the default that is why it is not working. You need to install it from CWM. Once installed, do a wipe again and reboot fully. The female voice will tell you that she is enabling lagfix and a few other things, it will boot to the phone. Don't panic if it takes about 10 minutes. After 20 minutes then be worried. Hope this helps. Best way to do I think is:

Odin back to DL09
Then OTA to ED03
Then Odin CWM 3
3 finger boot into cwm immediately,
Wipe cache's and data.
Install zip from sdcard, select KB file
Wipe again
Full reboot
Then once fully rebooted, reboot again into CWM and install the browser or mms patch if you would like.

That is what we are all here for. To help out each other. How has your progress been? Hows it running for you?

That just goes to show that each phone is different. I have updated Fascinates to CM 1.3 with enabling voodoo myself and without. Like netlagger asked though, how's everything working?

So far so good, the only other thing I want to flash is the browser, It was mentioned in a previous post. Mines very choppy and slow. I haven't touched the voodoo controls yet....scared to death of that HAHA

Are you talking about voodoo control settings or voltage control settings. Voodoo control settings are easy to set up and pretty self explanatory. Voltage control settings seem to be a bit touchy and vary widely from phone to phone. If you are going to set voltage levels through the voltage control app, start out at -25mv across the board, see how that works for a day or two, and then work your way up to make sure your phone can handle the undervolting.
