You can't. Well, you could go buy a new phone and not update it, but that's temporary as the update will be forced eventuallyGreat update on my Verizon Note 20 Ultra. So buggy and slow. Apps stopped working. Had to do a factory reset and reset my watch as well. Garbage. How do I roll back to 2.5?
Sure you can. The bootloader version didn't change with the update, so nothing prevents you from flashing a previous firmware version if you really want to.You can't.
Mine is smooth as butter![]()
Well a lot of us don't want to mess with thatSure you can. The bootloader version didn't change with the update, so nothing prevents you from flashing a previous firmware version if you really want to.
Sure, and I don't recommend it. But the OP wants to do it and asked how. You answered that it can't be done. But it can.Well a lot of us don't want to mess with that
I answered for most save I didn't suggest the other because I don't do it and didn't want to talk him thru it. Yes you are correct, but it isn't without risks for the average person with no knowledge. I do not suggest things I have no knowledge on and can create issues for someone if they don't have the know how. I figured someone else would do that and I was correct.Sure, and I don't recommend it. But the OP wants to do it and asked how. You answered that it can't be done. But it can.
Well now he knowsYes, neither of us suggested reverting to 2.5. But answering that it can't be done isn't the same as saying "You can do it, but I recommend against it". We can make whatever recommendations we want, but we shouldn't give out false information (even if we figure someone else will correct it).

You are corect....won't receive security patches if they stay on the previous OSYep don't think there is anyway to permanently turn off and still get security updates.
I'm not sure why you're having issues but I can assure you most of us are not experiencing what you describe. I found a few bugs during the beta but those were all addressed. There may be a couple of bugs that pop up here and there but nothing any more severe than prior releases. Nothing that impacts speed on my S20U or Note 20U.Great update on my Verizon Note 20 Ultra.
