I like the Google keyboard but despite selecting English UK PC as my chosen language there is no pound symbol. There is a $, but that's no use to me!
Anyone know where Google have hidden it?

Go to Settings>Language & Input>Language, and set it to English (United Kingdom). Now go to Settings>Language & Input>Google Keyboard>Language, and make sure "Use system language" is set to On. On the keyboard, when you tap the ?123 key, you should see the pound key right between # and %.

Thanks for that, but I use English UK PC so I can have a numeric line above qwerty all the time. This requires disabling system language. I'd prefer to keep the numbers and manage without a pound sign. Your help appreciated though....and explained concisely!

I tested out the English UK PC keyboard myself. You can get a pound sign by tapping shift first, then long-pressing the $. You should see the sterling pound sign show up as an option. I think it was an oversight on Google's part to have the $ as the default not the sterling pound.
