UK preorders shipping

I live in the UK and I ordered my nexus 7 soon as it was announced and today I have received tracking number for my nexus 7. Just taught I'll share this information with you as it might help people who ordered from the play store from the UK. Not to fussed about receiving it later then people who ordered it through the various retail stores selling it as Google mentioned the rough estimation date for the item to be delivered and never said or even alluded towards the possibility of receiving it earlier.

I ordered a 16 on the first day. Yesterday I got a pending charge but no email or tracking. I'd really like to know the dispatch schedule but if the USA pre-order is anything to go by they seem to be sent out in a pseudo-random order!

Ordered mine on the 13th got a pending charge on the 14th and nothing since then, Just read this Google Nexus 7 begins shipping in UK | News | TechRadar

It says "those that pre-ordered through Google's Play Store portal will have to wait longer to get their hands on the device – up to two or three weeks longer, depending on when the order was placed" I hope this isnt the case for my N7

Ordered my 16gb one on the 6th and heard nothing. Really disappointed and frustrated..

Yep should have it within this week I was charged right away once I placed the ordered. I got my tracking number today and it will be posted through tnt. I ordered the 8GB model. Hope that helps.

Nice one man, nice to see that they are shipping UK orders now, ive read that all UK preorders will be shipped by friday certainly hope thats the case

I ordered the 16GB on the 28 June but I've had no update since then.

Google have taken the "charge" again from my account yesterday after it was put back last week from when I preordered on the 29th June.

They have until this Friday (full 3 weeks) to give me a shipping number before I call up and cancel and go to PC World and get one instead.

It is now showing up as out of stock at Currys/PC World so it looks like I am stuck waiting for Google to ship it.

Don't know how true this is but I read somewhere that those who preordered the 16GB model will have to wait longer then those who ordered the 8GB model. Can't wait for the tablet let's hope it here before Thursday.

Just to confirm that Google took the payment this afternoon and have provided me with a shipping number.

Think i'd be optimistic to have it tomorrow, but you never know!

PS this is the 8gb model.

Received mine yesterday after getting a surprise email stating that my shipping HD been upgraded to a 24 hour service. Ordered the day after the Google announcement.

Google have dropped the ball concerning delivery, I have read about computer systems giving wrong delivery address to TNT delivery service,thats why all the delays.
I ordered a 16 on the 6th, hoping I get mine by the end of next week.:-\

FedEx have mine. They've had it sitting at their facility in Hong Kong for 36 hours so far. I won't get it until Monday at the earliest. 2day shipping. My arse.
