How do you make a WiFi call? Where are the settings for it?

It's in the settings of the phone app and was enabled by default after the last update. If it doesn't work try toggling on and off. Although I think only ee support it in the UK

Yes, in the Phone app it appears at the bottom of the list. I'm on Vodafone and it's working for me which is pretty useful since my SureSignal box hasn't worked since I got the S7 Edge!

Strangely although my wife's S7 also got the update hers isn't showing the WiFi calling option.

Yes, you get the status bar symbol too.

I have to agree it seems to me that EE have handled WiFi calling in a much better way than Vodafone have. Sadly I got suckered into another 24 month contract otherwise I would definitely have switched to EE.

Actually I just checked and you can dismiss the notification so maybe not that bad.

Yes that's the same as my wife's S7. I can only assume they are rolling it out gradually. Either that or mine's been enabled by mistake!

What network are you guys without the setting on? Maybe it only shows up if you insert a sim which supports it, ie ee or voda

Send a text to 97888 put CALLING in message box, once they send a text back saying its been activated the option will appear.

I did this again on the wife's S7 and it is now giving the WiFi option.

I have seen a thread on the EE forum saying WiFi calling is now possible with phones purchased from 3rd parties. Does anyone know if I need to do anything apart from enable it on the phone.

I'm with Vodafone and got a text from them at 2pm today offering wifi calling if I sent text 'CALLING' to 97888 which I did straight away. And then got another text from them at 7pm saying it was now enabled. Have checked and it now shows as an option in the settings of the phone app.

Yeah I did that and got a text a few hours later saying it was enabled but the option never appeared
