unable to access flashlight in redmi note 4X

I have a redmi note 4X (mido)
it doesnt has a back camera (damaged)
I have installed several roms in this device, but all Roms except the miui stock android 7 ROM shows "camera in use" when i try to access the flashlight.

the orangefox recovery for this device has an option to toggle the flash on/off and it works.

and I can't access to flashlight while taking pics/videos.

does anyone has a fix for this?
(the phone has a front camera but not a back camera)

I will replace it sometime soon, but currently i'm just trying to figure out what the issue is

Welcome to Android Central! The LED flash is typically closely associated with the camera module, so if one is damaged, the other won't work either. I think you'll need to get the module replaced, as belodion suggested.

I believe that getting the back camera replaced will resolve the issue as you and belidion suggested.

Also if your in the camera app the flashlight will go off automatically in lot of Android devices as it can't do both at same time .
