Unable to install from other sources

Hi guys, I have a LG V10 H960A and just recently i noticed I cant install apks from other sources. On checking the security setting that allows me to do so, I found out that it's greyed out and I can no longer check the box from other sources installations. It says ' Cannot download apps from unknown sources by server policy'. Plz help me.

That means your aren't the Primary user on the phone, looks like you are logged in as a secondary.

If that's not the case, are you rooted, or running a custom ROM? If not you can try clearing your cache partition first, and if that doesn't work doing a Factory reset.

I haven't rooted or anything and I have only 1 account that I think is the admin. This setting was enabled when i first started using this phone and just the other day i found this issue. How do I check if I'm the main account? All I can see is this account attached.

Hi thanks i reset the phone and its back. I wanna avoid this in future though

I wish I could tell you what caused it. If you factory reset, you are the admin no worries there. Not sure what to tell you could have been software related? hard to say. Glad it's working now though
