'Unable to install to usb or SD card. N7 2012

I have 18 gig free space and have cleared all cache, but when updating Flightradar24 Pro it downloads but then I get the title message.
The same thing occurred when I tried to install the eweather app.
No problem on the Samsung S3.
Any help please?

It may possibly be due to the version of Android on the N7. What's it running?
