I am able to move some of the apps on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (like Facebook, Hike etc.) to the SD Card, but I can't move particular apps (especially Clash of Clans, its a 78.36 MB app) to the SD Card, inspite I have 6.61 GB available space on my SD Card out of the 7.47 GB total space in my SD Card.

When I hit Move to SD Card, after a minute or two, it shows up 'Unable to Move App' error. I am moving some of the apps to my SD Card to free up my internal storage. This error is annoying as hell! Can you please help me?

The SD card could be corrupt, defective, or counterfeit. Install SD Insight to see if the card is genuine or counterfeit. Counterfeit cards are programmed to report more storage than they actually have, and if you try saving more than the card can actually hold, then files can start getting corrupt.

If it's a valid card, then go to Settings>Storage, Unmount the card, remove it, and insert it into your computer. Can the computer read these files? Backup as much as you can right now, then run chkdsk to look for bad sectors: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...guide-using-chkdsk-fix-corrupted-sd-card.html.

Thanks for your suggestion. The SD Card shows Jiaelec Corp. (Manufacturer of certain memory card brands) which has the size of 8 GB and the MMC Card shows SanDisk of 7.8 GB (8 GB approx.), but I've inserted Transcend SD Card into my phone (which is of same size). The app isn't showing valid info.

So which one of those is the card you're currently using?

Also, have you tried chkdsk yet?

So SD insight is saying the Transcend card is invalid? That means it's probably counterfeit. It might be a 4 GB card masquerading as an 8 GB card.

Transcend isn't a 4 GB card. It's an 8 GB card. I've checked in my phone's storage settings and it says 7.47 GB (approx. 8 GB).

What I'm saying is that if SD Insight tells you that the Transcend card is invalid, then it may be counterfeit. Counterfeiters take a low capacity card (like a 4 GB card or smaller) and reprogram it to say that it's larger. But once you surpass the actual limit of the card, the tablet will think it can keep saving files, but it can't, and this can cause errors or data corruption.

SD Insight didn't say that Transcend card is invalid. It shows some other card instead of the card that I actually inserted.

What's the name that shows up? Does the size of the card match what's advertised?
