I downloaded Presto print app from Collobos.com but I am unable to open the file for installation. I have already gone to Settings, Security, and checked Unknown Sources. Also, I downloaded ITunessetup but I had the same problem. Is there a feature on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 that I need to change to allow me to open the files that I download?

Seems like I've run into this before when trying to open the app from the download notification, but using ES File Explorer and tapping the file from there allowed it to open.

Thanks, Starbuckk. But, where is the ES File Explorer. Are you referring to the folder My Files? If so, I clicked on the downloaded file and a message saying unable to find application to open file. Do you have any suggestions. Thanks so much!

You will have to download ES File Explorer or any other type of 3rd party file manager from the Google Play Store. Most are free and do a way better job than the stock file manager provided by Sammy or any other OEM.

Yes MyFiles probably would work too. Sorry, force of habit I use ES most of the time.

When I look at the Collobos website, what I see is not an app to run on an Android device but and executable file that should be installed on a PC. The demo video confirms this. If you're trying to installed the .exe on your GN 10.1, that's the problem.

I just purchased my Galaxy Note 10.1 and am still learning about it. But, I wanted to share that I downloaded Presto from Collobos software and Google Cloud Print app from the Google Store. Just follow the instructions at the Collobos website. I can now print from the Galaxy Note 10.1 to a Brother MFC 685 printer that is not listed on the Brother Printer app. Works great! Also, I to share the I can now watch videos taken with an Iphone or Ipad on the Samsung Galaxy note. Just send the Iphone or Ipad videos to your home computer, connect the Galaxy Note to the computer by USB, and copy the videos to the Galaxy. Works great!
