Hi all,

newbie question again: I have a Samsung GalaxyTab S6 Lite (2024) SM P620 and I use Gmail. I received a mail with a few attached images. I downloaded them (klick on the respective [download] buttons), Apparently this works because a second klick results in "has been downloaded already". But those images are not in my internal storage Download or Documents folder (there is no SD card); I used both file manager and Samsung's files. I googled my fingers sore, and each result said "either in your downloads od in your documents folder.

Where the heck (sorry) might the files be hidden?

Thank you, androcubc

Thanks! Silly me, I have all mail apps in my secure folder. Now I see that downloaded-from-mail-apps files are stored in "Secure folder" > "My files" > "Downloads". At long last problem solved.

Got it: within safe folder "Gallery" > select pictures > "Share" > choose some more pictures > choose file manager > choose location outside of safe folder > "Save"
