Unable to send/access picture messages Alcatel phone - Straight Talk

Hello. I recently received a new ALCATEL OneTouch Idol 3 Global Unlocked phone using Straight Talk as my provider. I can send text messages, but I can't send picture/media, nor can I open pictures. When I attempt to open a picture message it says click to download, and it never downloads. When I try to send a picture messages, it either says that it can't be sent, or "sending..." and never changes.

I've tried clearing the cache and resetting the default for the messaging application, I've restarted the phone multiple times. I can use data on other applications and to search on the internet, send emails. But not picture messages, media messages.

I contacted Straight Talk, they said to contact Alcatel, and the Alcatel response was to contact Straight Talk as it is their problems.

The phone has Android 5.0.2 if that helps.

I greatly appreciated any and all assistance as I couldn't find this problem with this Alcatel phone online.

If you have a Straight Talk AT&T SIM, try these APN settings

Don't forget to hit the save button once you input the APN. I usually restart the phone after inputting the new APN. Have used ST on 6 different unlocked phones over the years and these settings have always worked for me. The link I posted is very helpful. Good luck.
