Android Central Question

I have a media server (KDlinks A400) that runs the Android OS 7. The devices has an internal hard drive in a shared directory. When I try send a file more than 500 MB I get an error message saying "There is not enough space on share, you need 810 more MB. The drive has 120 GB free. Can anyone explain why this happens?

Welcome to Android Central! Also, show us a screenshot of the Settings>Storage menu: http://forums.androidcentral.com/ge...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html. If the device's storage is partitioned into more than one area, it's possible that the partition you're trying to copy the file to is really small (it might be a partition dedicated to app installation only), while the second partition is the one intended for file storage.

The movie directory is on a 3TB hard drive attached via SATA to the box running Android 7.0. I have more than 120 GB free space on the drive.
