Uneven Brightness

I notice when displaying dark colors (especially grey) that my S2 9.7" tablet doesn't have great color uniformity. It's very "splotchy."

Using Tapatalk in Dark Mode illustrates the problem, and the Display Tester App confirms it's not just one app.

Curious if anyone else notices this.
