unfinished roms? why?

I believe most of the best devs share resources, however many of the them do give credit where credit is due.

For example, Th3ory's BLACKSOURC3 shares resources from the CM7 build, but the attention dedicated to improving current RC is noticeable, and appreciable credit is given to the Cyanogen team.

That's the beauty of the Open Source community, collaboration results in many of the strongest builds available.

There is a sizable difference between sharing, and plain out taking (then saying you did it all yourself).

Its disrespectful and insulting.

What do you think? ;)

To those complaining about unfinished ROMS, one of the main reasons why is because we haven't had a stable build of Froyo or Gingerbread for a considerable amount of time. Around the time of the MR2 release there was a GB leak available. So basically all development for Froyo stopped then, and there has been many different leaks since. Each time a ROM was based off of one, it moved on to the next and so forth. Now that we have a much more stable build, the development for ROMS based off this will have time to mature and become more stable themselves. Thus getting closer to as much of a finished product as you can possibly get.

Sounds excellent. I hope.it works that way.

ROMS finish or not have been way better than the stock roms any day... I have installed BAMF Forever and so far it has won me over, even with the first release the ROM has been one the most stable and troublefree ROM for me...

Their is no complaints here..... I have been debating on installing the lean kernel but I haven't really seen a reason to worry about this but I may still give it a shot in a bit to see how she does with a bit of overclock... :) Not because I have to, because I can.... I love the freedom of custom over stock..

Thanks Adrynalyne and the BAMF team.
