Unfortunately, Action memo has stopped

Hi, first time post!

Just bought a new Samsung Galaxy Note 3. When I open the action memo app - either via air command or from the app menu - I get the error message 'Unfortunately, Action memo has stopped'.

I have read other threads about this issue. I've tried running the phone in safe mode, I've tried a full factory reset, nothing helps.

Don't know if this is relevant, but in my application manager, the Action memo app appears 4 times (file size - 4.85mb, 0b, 40kb, and 52kb).

Also, I don't know if this is related or not, but when I go into settings > language and input > handwriting recognition, and click language - I get the error message 'unfortunately, settings has stopped'

Could it be that the problem with handwriting recognition is spilling over to Action memo?

Welcome to Android Central! If the errors persist in Safe Mode, then there may be a problem with the firmware. Try reinstalling the firmware using Samsung Kies or Smart Switch.
