Unfortunately, babel font has stopped

I got a repeated message on my mobile says Unfortunately, babel font has stopped. Rebooting the mob doesn't help

What I had to do was:
Reboot.
Before that msg comes up, try to get to settings/apps and disable Babel Fonts. You may have to "OK" the error message several times to get to the disable confirmation.
Enable system Font Manager.
Reboot
Update Babel Fonts in Google Play.

I can disable it but it just comes back, it asks if I want to in stall the factyory version b ut I am nervous!

Well hit the button to install factory version and it had stopped and says disabled and I can now use fone.............. anyone know WHY this happened, it stopping like that? Hope it doesnt do it again after I switch off and back on later!

I tried a factory reset 3 times but no result. What worked for me was to find Babel Fonts in Settings - App - Babel Fonts, and then uninstall it. Took a while to dodge the pop-up box in order to confirm the request, but when I uninstalled it I had no more problems.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was thinking about taking the 'nuclear option' ;o)

I also noticed this app appear on my phone the other day! And my anti virus has suggested I uninstall it. After a bit of reading up on it, it sounds like bad news. It could be malware sending your personal data to servers in China. I uninstalled it yesterday but it reappeared and I only have the option to disable it.
Google some topics around ADUPS malware for more info on what your phone might be stealing from you, gave me a shock
