The inaccurate display was too much for me. I know that's not a big deal for most people, but it really bothered me.

Audio was great, build quality was great. Camera was....mostly good.

Someone looking for a phone that can also double as a good DAP that doesn't value screen accuracy will love this phone.

There's a setting to adjust the Screen Calibration..Colors get pretty accurate with some tinkering

Glad to hear that. There will be more for the rest of us.

For those calibrating, What are you using to compare when calibrating? That flower? How do you know what color each petal is really suppose to be??¿¿

It actually comes down to the users opinion on what is accurate and what is not. What I think is accurate in color would probably look inaccurate to a different user.......

The screen is the only thing that I'm having a hard time getting used to, and no matter where I put the calibration circle I just can't get it right. Default with comfort mode on low is what works best for me as of now. Coming from a saturated AMOLED Samsung screen, it's definitely a change. That, and having to get used to a phone with on screen capacitive buttons are my only gripes so far

I spent a lot of time with it. Looked accurate on calibration pic a few times until I went to a video, then not so accurate. I tried a few more times and still failed. In the end I compared to my wife's v20 at default and that's what I went back too LOL. I think the calibration pic sucks but then again, so do I at the calibration.

How is the screen inaccurate.. When everyone is saying the Sammy screens are over saturated and over contrasted? Wouldn't that be inaccurate? Lol

I agree. The Amoled screens are over saturated. Some users believe that a higher contrast screen is more accurate?

I don't know if it's the same (as I don't have the V20 yet), but my wife's G4 has always had a sort of yellow-ish tinge to it, compared to my G4. I only notice it when looking at white. So it could be an issue with this one screen.

Try this: open your camera, and aim at an area that has a variety of colors. The screen should display the an accurate image of the scene. If the image on your screen is identical to the scene you're viewing, your camera and screen are fine. If not, one of them is innacurate , probably the screen.

Ok, idc about the display, i'm a blind person. I care about sound. This might be a good phone for me.

Where's the calibration setting? I've been under display and see nothing. Lemme guess, VZW hid/disabled it.

Yeah.. I think that's a result of 'good but false marketing'.
I'm waiting for the day Samsung users start complaining about their eyesight, saying the real world isn't color accurate...

It's in settings > accessibility > vision > screen color adjustment. Here's mine, which isn't much of a curve and has been working for me for now. I keyed off the blue of the sky, but I think I'll try the camera live view comparison mentioned above to double check.

Sounds to me like the displays are user specific. If you're used to Samsung phone displays you tend to gravitate to or prefer that over LG. Some LG people are probably the same about the LG displays, etc. But these displays are adjustable to suit most anyone's needs
