Unfortunately it went back

The Note 7 in basic setting is very accurate, per reviews and Display Mate.

The V20 can be calibrated to get looking good, but seen no color measurements since reviews failed to notice the calibration feature.

The inaccurate display was too much for me. I know that's not a big deal for most people, but it really bothered me.

Audio was great, build quality was great. Camera was....mostly good.

Someone looking for a phone that can also double as a good DAP that doesn't value screen accuracy will love this phone.

I was sure this was another Pixel thread from looking at the title.

What I noticed yesterday is that my Titan V20 has a cooler display than my silver one. Wasn't expecting that and did notice it. As I've mentioned before, I love displays with a coolish color so I immediately fell in love with the one on my Titan. The Silver has a notably warmer display that I may futz with to get it more in line with the Titan.

Edited: for readability, because I care.

My lgv20 also went back about 10 minutes ago I have been a Samsung customer for years and I just couldn't stay away LOL. I am back on my gold s7edge and looking very forward to Samsung pay again. The v20 was not a bad phone by any means I just highly prefer the Samsung Experience I'm glad that so many people are very happy with the v20

The 7E curve gives me anger issues. Wasted space and only 5.2" actually legible. Awkward to protect and easy to touch unintentionally while gaming and the distortion of video and reading is significant.

Not getting how folks prefer this to a flat display, but personal choice matters most :)

I am still on the fence with the LG V20, I keep thinking about going back to the Note 5 (that's what I had before) I am still playing around with the screen color contrast and the camera has a lot of options but it would take a whole lot of tinkering to get a good shot. Don't get me wrong I love that the options are even there on the camera, I guess it's just a learning curve. But the sound on this phone is amazing!!! I plugged in the little in ear buds from Samsung....wow is all I can say. Beats any phone I ever owned....lol. And that is stellar to me. Hugh! First world problems.

I prefer a flat display but I am a hardcore Samsung customer. I always come back to their phones. Only reason I don't have a note 5 now is because thru tmobile none were available and I don't want to put up a few hundred bucks up front now for a used one.

People like it because it is unique and pretty despite the fact is detracts from the user experience.

Or it's not super high on their list of things to buy a phone for. I greatly prefer an accurately calibrated display and will take a curved display that is calibrated over a flat one that is not. If everything is equal then yes, I would prefer the flat. When I originally got the S7e I chose the bigger battery over the flat display and knew that a case (which I was going to use anyway) would mitigate the accidental touch issues. Over time I did find that to be the case and the curve didn't bother me much if at all.

Accidental touch doesn't bother me. Reading or viewing video through curves does.

I love the S7 Edge. Not because it's pretty, because it does everything I need and more. Sure it would be better with a less curved or a flat screen along with the S Pen but it's great

I almost ordered one today until I read this thread. Guess I'll keep waiting to see what else comes along.
