Unfortunately, Launcher has stopped

Hi guys

I tried every fix mentioned here but didn't work. I fixed by tapping on the clock or drop down menu and accessing the settings menu from there. Find your launcher, stop it and clear data or cache from there. Exit the settings menu and/or reboot. Thank you all for posting.

Okay with the launcher instead of pushing cache I accidentally pushed clear data, did I just f everything up!!!????

I tried to do the same thing in the video but whenever I get to select the volume_down wont work, anyone knows what's going on??

Thank you so much. I had so much trouble with the video - I got the first screen but not subsequent. If I had used your method I would have saved my self 24 hours of misery. Thank you so much..

Welcome to Android Central! Try wiping the system cache partition. There might be some temporary system data stuck there that's causing a conflict. You won't lose any personal data or settings. Follow the instructions in this video, but make sure you select "wipe cache partition," and NOT "wipe data/factory reset."

Could be a bug in the launcher or your phone
Might have to do a factory reset to get rid of this bug.
