Unfortunately the process android.process.media has stopped

HI

Can someone help me?

I have DOOGEE Y100 PRO. For some reason which I don't know, I lost my photos.
When I'm trying to connect my phone to the laptop via USB, its always showing this pop up (Unfortunately the process android.process.media has stopped).

How can i fix the problem and get my photos back???

You probably have this dealt with by now as it's 14 days since your post but I just had that exact problem with Amazon Kindle and this is what worked for me. I checked the other apps and they all worked except Kindle. I went to the app store and uninstalled the program then reinstalled it. Everything came back.
