unfortunately twitter has stopped working

whenever i try to tweet something on twitter, a message appears
"unfortunately twitter has stopped working" n it goes back to the main twitter homepage. otherwise browsing or retweeting hav no issues.
please help

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone do you have? Try going to Settings>Apps (or, if you have a Samsung device, the App Manager), tap Twitter, and Clear Cache, then Force Stop. Now try again. You may also need to Clear Data, but then you'll have to re-login again.

I'm having the same issue...every time i try to type a tweet from my note3 i get the "unfortunatelt, twitter has stopped" message...haven't been able to tweet from the app in over a week...I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing cache, force stop, what can I do to fix this?
