Uninstall Lollipop

Other than the battery, lollipop is running super smooth on my s5. I did have to factory reset, but it worked.

While the upgrade to Lollipop screwed a few things up, some can be fixed by resetting the phone to a factory state. You can also trying clearing the system cache, but that didn't help in my case. I had battery drain and battery overheating, but I fixed it by doing a reset. It sucked, but I had all my stuff backed up. Works great now except for my alarm and "The Contacts have stopped" issue.

You can downgrade to KK. It is possible. You can get the whole tutorial online. The process is mostly the same but differs a bit from manufacturer to manufactures. It is pretty easy for LG G3 but a tad tough for Samsung. I suggest you check downgrading tutorial online. Most of them are safe and trusted but if you feel you can screw up your phone due to non-technical skills then don't mess up. But it is worth to take a risk. I have downgraded my LG G3, got it rooted, bumped it with stock Lollipop and it works like charm now.

Please feel free to ask for any help needed.

Thanks,
Apa'

So how would you do it for the lg3?

You can download the kk rom for your specific device and use the LG flash tool. You can get that on xda. Just connect your phone to your computer and let the flash tool do it for you. There's a whole tutorial on that I guess. Please check it out
