Unknown app draining battery!

Hey all,

Just from the past 6 hours, an app named "10338" is draining my battery! Can't find it anywhere in apps, can't force stop it as the option is greyed out, what do i do now?? It has black android symbol while all others are grey.

I am using nexus 6p, with marshmallow 6. 0.1. Please check out the attached screenshots.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I remember reading a similar issue with other Nexii. I think it's a Linux process that, in theory, shouldn't appear in the battery stats. This happened during the first days using the phone or after a system update and it should disappear soon from the list. I'll try to contact an Ambassador that noticed something similar in his Nexus.

Yes, I do indeed recall something similar several months ago on my Nexus 5. The Linux explanation is elegant, but beyond my understanding alas. I think it resolved itself quite quickly, and assume that it was a harmless glitch.
