While capturing the feeds from Android 10 phones, observed that they are generating unknown macs(macs not assigned to any vendor) when random mac feature is enabled. As per different publishing, a random mac will be generated not an unknown mac. Can anyone explain how these unknown macs are generated? Thanks in advance.

Probably the mac randomization feature that has been on android since 8.0 I believe. Basically a security feature that changes the mac address of a device when it connects to different wifi networks, thus making it more difficult to track. Since it was introduced, it has become more robust, even to the point where it can change the address every time it reconnects to any network.
