From what I know if you do early upgrade they move you from unlimited to tiered data right? Well some how that didn't happen to me =) i took the early upgrade to this phone from my bold 9930 through the Internet and my data plan didn't get changed. I waited until my initial data cycle ended and still have unlimited ^^

Just thought I should share it with all of you ~

Damn I love 4g but I miss the bb keyboard....

I had the same thing happen to me. I upgraded in the middle of July. When I bought the phone, the Verizon rep said there was nothing he could do to help me keep the unlimited data. After he activated it, he said that somehow it was still showing unlimited for my account. I guess I'm just one of the lucky ones.

Crap! . . . and I paid full retail to stick with unllimited. Go buy lotto tickets, :D

I paid full price for my GN also, just to have unlimited data. I already hit 10GB and I have a week till my new billing cycle start.

Only 10? I pre-ordered my S3 before June 28th to keep mine, I average over 40gb. I'm sure Verizon hates me. I've pulled over 25gb in a week on 3g with my Droid X when I was a long haul trucker for a year...

it has something to do specifically with the GS3. They have been alowing anyone who upgrades to this phone to keep unlimited. It must have something to do with the fact that this phone is on all carriers and they dont want to piss people off and drive them to the same phone on a different carrier.

For you cats who are in the tens of gb's... have you been throttled? Only reason I ask is that when I hit 5 or 6 gbs, i notice TERRIBLE data speeds...

Still got 18 days left during this cycle and have yet to see any slowdown in speed (knock on wood)

I have gone over 60gb, and no throttling. Verizon only network optimize 3g devices.

I got the phone in July. And i only use like 3 gigs so far.

The only reason I use so much data now is due to the fact I no longer have WiFi

I also got unlimited..the guy said there was something buggy with the computers because he was not able to put me in for 2gb or higher. So I got lucky.

What do you mean? Unlimited data is higher than 2gb ;)

I just have one question..... How...? What on earth mars and Jupiter are u guys doing to reach those kind of numbers using data..? I think I've used a maximum of about 3gb of data on my phone. I do have a DROID X so i'm obviously not gonna use like some others might, but.. Wow.. 10..25gbs...how..?

Btw not being judgmental or anything, I just really wanna know how you're doing this. Lol.

Being a programmer, one of the easiest ways to signify "unlimited" is by designating it as zero. that way you never hit the cap. that or 9999, but it depends on the database structure
