Unlimited Google Photos What happens in 2 years

Am I the only one to question the status of unlimited Full size photos and videos on Google Photos?
What happens if I change phones to a non Google phone? Do I have to pay whatever cost to keep the photos on Google Photos? What happens to my general Google Drive / Gmail status?

Every jpeg has metadata that says what camera took it. More than likely it will only count to shots actually taken with pixel.

I suspect eventually this unlimited will be available for everything not just the Pixel, it's just a matter of time.

When you log into Google Photos from your iPhone it will know it's an iPhone and not give you unlimited full res storage and vice versa. It's knows which phone took the pic as well.

For photos yes unless you go over 16 MP IIRC -- As for video though you can upload all the 4k you want w/o taking up space.

I wish this phone had unlimited or at least 1tb storage for everything. Photos don't really eat up any storage space anyways.

File size was the same but screen size was something like 240x380 . Strange

For photos yes unless you go over 16 MP IIRC -- As for video though you can upload all the 4k you want w/o taking up space.
