Is it possible to get unlimited tether on T-Mobile without paying more $$$?

I'm on the plan that offers 2.5GB of free tethering.

Okies, I don't believe tmobile offers an unlimited tether plan. So I guess you are asking for 3rd party ways.

I may be wrong, but I don't think most forums allow that kind of questions, lol.

There are 2 plans that offer 2.5GB of tethering. The regular 2.5GB plan and the unlimited plan. There are none that offer unlimited tethering.

Out of box, Nexus5 contains carrier-specific checks to enforce tethering plan policy on Sprint and T-Mobile but not AT&T. So, if you are on AT&T, you get unlimited tethering with any data plan.

If you are on either Sprint or T-Mobile, you will not be able to do so unless you root your phone and modify the internal settings database to bypass this check. Instructions are posted here and other places.

Except AT&T does not offer unlimited data plans. They max out at 20GB.

For those of us that are grandfathered in, unlimited is still available.
