Unlocked AT&T HTC ONE Manually Installing T-Mobile Update?

I just got an unlocked AT&T HTC ONE and was wondering if I could just download and install the ROM Update for the T-Mobile version on it since the hardware is so similar.
According the HTC sites for AT&T and T-Mobile updates, the T-Mobile one actually is a more updated version, or as it seems.

Please help, I don't wanna brick my new phone just yet

You should stick with the AT&T updates. If you want more up to date stuff, I suggest you flash a custom rom in that case.
