Unlocked Moto X - How do I do it?

If I want an unlocked Moto X, how do I order it? Will it be able to be used by all carriers? If I go to the Motorola website, I can get an unlocked phone but it says GSM unlocked phone Works for AT&T and T mobile and Global GSM/UMTS/HSPA networks. It does not say that it will work for Verizon unless I select Verizon in a separate category. Does that mean that if I go with an unlocked phone, it will only work with AT&T and T-Mobile?

I assume that once I get the phone, then I can just order a SIM card from the carrier to make it work on their network, right?

Yes, unlocked aka Pure Edition will only work on att or tmobile - not vzw.

The Pure version will also work fine on any of the MVNOs that ride on AT&T and T-Mo's networks, just FYI. But yeah, if you want to use the X on Verizon, you have to buy Verizon's version.
