Android Central Question

I've paid off both of my wife and I's S7 edges from sprint. I put a request in to unlock both lines for domestic. Ordered the new sims from cricket and installed in phones and activated. they said it would take 15 minutes but my wifes never activated and just said invalid sim. after dealing with sprint i had them resend the unlock signal and checked with cricket to make sure the right sim was activated, which it was. I checked my wifes sim reader with my activated cricket card (known working) and it still said invalid sim. i put the sprint sim in and got signal but am no longer connected to the network and cant update prl. is there a way to force an update. im stuck and would like to use the phone i paid for for this service

There is an issue with what you are trying to do.

Spring (and Galaxy S7) from Sprint is a CDMA network, whereas Cricket is a GSM one. And they have different SIM cards. This is why your S7 can't recognize the Cricket card.

Unfortunately, I think you can only go to another CDMA network, but even this, I am not sure it works.

But i also have a s7 edge from sprint that worked perfectly fine. so i honestly dont think the network is the issue as mine is perfect
