Unlocked/Wi Fi Calling Question

Unlocked on Verizon doesn't have a toggle. Not sure what their fuzzy logic is but I never turn off wifi calling. I do turn off wifi and thats just as easy for me. I'm sure some people have a reason to.

Thanks - I wasn't really concerned about the toggle anyway; Just wanted this info to be correct for anyone reading it later trying to figure out their phone settings.

Thes forums can get pretty confusing when each carrier varient is a little different, and even unlocked phones are different among the carriers... I wish that the carriers could keep their hands out of the unlocked phones at least.

Yeah it's been a problem all along, Samsung even though being so dominant doesn't have the balls to say the carriers to F off and constantly bend over back to them. It's way better than how it was few years ago but Samsung isn't like Apple who puts the useless carriers in their place.

How do I add it?

Pull your notification panel fully down , tap 3 dots right corner and tap button order see if its a toggle to add

I think even on US unlocked, with T-Mobile SIM there is a WiFi calling quick settings option.

On Verizon and Sprint, probably you need to go to Settings - Connections - WiFi calling to turn on and off, since the quick settings option isn't present with Verizon, Sprint sim on US unlocked model.

Yeah Tmobile its there on unlocked, I belive carrier models should have that option all them for toggle , probably the unlocked its by carrier who has the toggle in pull down

Nope....it doesn't exist. Verizon is special. For me its a useless toggle anyway. I never turn off wifi calling.

Yeah even though the toggle is there for me on US Unlocked with T-Mobile, I don't see me turning it on/off constantly. It's either on or off.

It's just another weird thing that's inconsistent based on the SIM you insert

I actually was able to make a quick setting icon for wifi calling with this app called tile shortcuts.

Just went to settings
Looked at everything with the icons.
Didn't see wifi calling on icons.
Went to settings and looked at wifi calling.
It wasn't turned on.

Now I fad WiFi calling working on my VZW unlocked N20U, but today It doesn't work, and the setting under connections is gone...

Verry annoying. I don't understand why VZW has an issue with using WiFi calling on unlocked devices. It's not like I'm not paying my bill.

I just restarted, and the option to turn it on is back...
