Unlocking a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

I've been using an HTC One M7 for the past few years. Needless to say the battery is starting to act up so I'm looking for a new phone. A really nice newer model is beyond my reach financially so I'm looking at an older model like the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge plus. Samsung makes a good phone and I love the larger screen.

Just can't seem to find a unlocked new one at a reasonable price. Then I saw an ad for an unlocker service. Are there reliable and if so , what might they typically charge for unlocking?

Just trying to figure out my options

Best ask the unlocking service what their charges are. I couldn't get my S6 Edge unlocked by such services so had to pay my carrier as they had to get the codes from Samsung, so beware. Also make sure any phone you buy is compatible with the network you intend using it on.

From my experience depends on carrier that phone is locked to
