T Mobile runs on GSM/HSPA technology.

Verizon runs on CDMA/LTE technology.

If you are on t-mobile and you unlock, you can only go to att. And the 4G probably won't work. You will be stuck with att 3G. Don't unlock, it is a thing of the past.
