Hey I read this article yesterday and it makes me curious about the potential for rooting this phone.

Basically it says that if you unlock your One to flash a custom ROM on it, you can't return it back to factory settings to get updates via your carrier. Does anyone know if this has been addressed or worked around - or rubbish? I'd like the option to flash a ROM for KLP when it comes out - or maybe even jellybean 4.2 - without sending my phone to purgatory, since AT&T isn't the best when it comes to pushing out updates.
