Unlocking sprint optimus s

I bought my Optimus S on craigslist for cheap but it said my ESN was unclean for activation but I was going to unlock it so I can activate it on Page Plus anyway. My question is if I just unlock it can I just activate it over pageplus (uses verizon network)? Also how do I go about unlocking it?

I know that you will need to have root and Flash CM7 because it supports IP Tables and you will need CDMA Workshop 3.5 but the rest idk about. Ive never flashed over a Optimus s

You would do better to look over at Howardforums as those guys specialize in swapping phones to other providers.

CDMA phones don't really need to be unlocked. The thing with Page plus was that they would pretty much let you activate any carrier's ESN or MEID on their network. If they still do this, all you need to provide them is your phones MEID to activate. Data may not work.

You are going to need to get your MSL (SPC) code to program your phones NAM. I think i used CDMA workshop to get this last time, but i hardly ever need it so if you can't get it with their Demo version using LG method in security let me know. You can call Sprint for it, but you said the ESN was bad so they won't be so friendly.
