Unread email count in native gmail app?

Hi,

I'm an android convert from the blackberry platform and have to say, there is no turning back once you get with the 'droid!

However, one niggle - is there a way of configuring the native gmail app to show how many unread emails there are?

Well I've seen screenshots and read about people that download another app for their GMail (sorry I can't remember the name! >.<). Maybe search around the Market?

There's an app called GMail Unread Count in the marketplace. I downloaded it for my Moment but it didn't work for me. Might wanna give that a try.

When you're in the gmail app itself, at the top it says: Inbox (#). The # representing how many unread you have. Least that's how it is for me.
