I used the Revolutionary guide located here: http://forums.androidcentral.com/th...ot-thunderbolt-revolutionary.html#post1649884 to root my thunderbolt. Everything was successful! I did NOT install a custom rom. I still have the stock rom. After a while I now want to unroot and take the verizon ICS OTA. I don't care for root anymore.
If I follow the directions "Putting current stock firmware and s-on back onto the phone" from the link above, and flash only this file PG05IMG_no_hboot_2.11.605.9.zip, will this wipe my data? If it will wipe my data is there anyway to unroot and take the current OTA update from verizon WITHOUT loosing my data/wipe?
Thanks a ton!!
