unroot x

hi,
I need to unroot my device..
I got a link to go into my terminal and what not, but that didnt work..

Umm, if you download ZRoot from XDA dev site, i think it has an unroot option if youre already rooted... Or if you feel comfortable using SBF, SBF flash to 2.3.320 then 2.3.340 SYSTEM ONLY sbf.

You need to get your first nandroid up and running with bootstrap. Then once that is up, you just need to remove root stuff via terminal emulator.

Caution! You need your first nandroid ,no ROMS. Then open TU and enter

su
mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/system /system
rm /system/app/Superuser.apk
rm /system/xbin/busybox
rm /system/xbin/su
rm /system/bin/busybox
rm /system/bin/su

then reboot.

Of coarse you can do it the hard way and sbf and rsdlite, but don't be surprised if the su app stays, lol!

FYI, I was working with him on a thread posted after this one. The issue is with the new TranQ rom. No backups were made of stock rom. You guys can check the thread if you have any other ideas (pls help..urgent).

Well then. Flash the sbf and be done with it.

Make sure moto drivers are installed.

Make sure and store all files neat on a folder.

download sbf's.

RSDLite.

AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A damn good detailed guide you can read. If someone offers to tweak your device and hasn't warned you that you could brick it, read more, cause you can and will brick it if in a hurry.
