I rooted my LG Lucid 3 and it turns out I can't really get much. I would like to uproot it so I may update my phone, please help.

Which root method did you use? If there is a SuperSU app in your app drawer, you can do a full unroot from there.

I have tried using SuperSU before but after the full unroot my phone in the status section will still say that it is rooted though root checkers do not always agree with that.

So phone says yes, root checkers say no? I'd be inclined to believe the latter. Are you able to use root features of apps? That could confirm whether you are or not.

The root checkers say that I do not have full root access sometimes, other times I do. My phone however seems to always think it is rooted and will not install the already downloaded update.

You can try universal unroot from the Play Store. Someone I was helping earlier said it worked for them even though SuperSU didn't.

Root checker says I no longer have proper Root access but my phone still thinks it's rooted. Fingers crossed on the update.

So I did delete the preset NFL app and I had several disabled apps.

What did you use for those? If it's just through system settings you can probably enable them again. For the deleted app, you will have to find a way to install it again.
Otherwise you'll have to flash a stock ROM.
