I tried to root my phone, and I seriously messed up.

How do I remove clockworks recovery mod from my phone, unroot it, and then re-lock the boot loader? I essentially want my phone back to the way it was when I took it out of the box. I have a Nexus S from AT&T, and I have no idea what to do. I'm a noob to all of this stuff...heh.

By the way, I also can't access AT&T's network for some reason. It says i'm in airplane mode. When I try to turn airplane mode off, it turns itself right back on. Settings > Privacy > Factory Reset doesn't seem to do anything..

Which method did you use to root it?

Typically, as with HTC phones, to install to factory stock, you will need to run a factory RUU. This will replace your Rom, and hopefully, your recovery. Usually this kills the root.

To find your Factory Rom, try Shipped ROMs

Find the correct Rom (Carrier, GSM, CDMA). Note that there are 3 types. OTA (updates), RUU and the same in Zip format. You can also chose a WWE, which I believe is a basic stock without carrier bloatware.

You do not want the OTA. The .exe you run from your pc while connected to your phone. The zip you flash through Recovery.

There doesn't seem to be any ROMs for my phone at Shipped ROMs

Try the second link.

Basically, they are going to look for root, s-off, and custom Rom. But really, I haven't heard a lot of bad things when turning phones in after a person well, modifys it.

Check the second link.

Also, your device may be listed by it's maiden name, Crespo (if I'm not mistaken) ,like the desire gsm is called Bravo
