I am having a problem unrooting using the RUU. I am getting an error 155. Its telling me to recover something but I am not sure what its asking.. Please help! just want to get back to stock!!

Does the hboot have to match software and ruu? I updated hboot and tried ruu and that's how I got error 155...

Whatever it asks you to put itn is what you have to put in for it to work. I don't know how the method goes to unroot though but if its asking for the hboot number then yes you have to put in the numbers that were updated if they were. Did you try to reflash your recovery from rom manager or nandroid backup? That could probably make it easier to unroot it.

how do I know which hboot version to use? also, I went from clockwork to amonra, and didn't make a nandroid. I have a good rom and theme now, but may be upgrading soon and may want to sell my phone so I want to get it back to original condition. I am using a certain ruu, and it updates and everything but when it gets to the part where its trying to unroot it gives error 155. just not sure what to do .. I did try to update hboot version but I am thinking i updated with the wrong version??? If that makes sense!

The website where you got revolutionary said its permanent with no going back. Just keep the root and go back to a stock rom. Consider it a secret weapon. I hate stock roms personally.

There will be an unrooting tool eventually put out by revolutionary. I can sense it :p

Not really, but i have a feeling haha.

SWEET! I just rooted with revolutionary today, and I like knowing that I can undo this if I choose. I got nervous after I rooted it however, as I am wondering what they are going to do with my ESN? Is it possible to cause damage or steal my service with JUST my ESN and not my MIN?
