unsupported image for messaging

Anybody run into problems with messaging people pics they saved onto their phone? They're jpgs but apparently it's an unsupported file type smh

I get it all the time. Never found a fix, then again I've never looked.

I found one fix on a nexus forum and it worked. If i crop the picture and save it i can send the cropped one but it's still annoying.

Thanks! Yeah I tried sending some pics from the Texas state fair yesterday and my friend kept getting "file unsupported/image too large" messages (he uses an ip5). I'll have to see if the cropping works. It's too bad stock android doesn't auto-resize like touchwiz on galaxy phones. Just a minor complaint that can be fixed with a third party app/cropping, though.

I get the same problem with pics and videos that are sent to me. Also when I'm on forums a lot of pics don't display. I'm looking for a fix too.
