I have made 2 Notification bars tonight on UOT and the clocks keep ending up black and I am unable to see them due to black bar. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

most likely you forgot to change the font color in uot

when your in the status bar mod section

the first box where it says text change it to white font #000000

It always comes out like that have to manually edit the color of the clock or remove it. Sorry I don't know how to do either one.

No I made sure that is was set to white... I am on a froyo ROM so it wouldn't effect the clock anyway. This is stumping me. I have made around 12 different notification bars there and none have done this to me.

Wait I have updated to the 2.0 of Harmonia and I was using the framework from 1.1 do you think that could do it?

The clock is naturally black. If you make a black status bar, it will be almost invisible. If you are modifying a Froyo framework-res.apk, the clock color is never changed by Kitchen. That is only supported for 2.3 frameworks.

The previous 10 bars were black and always had a white clock. Was it always a fluke that it happened to turn out white?

Sorry if I sound pissed I am not. I re-read that and it sounded ill tempered.

I am unsure. I have created tons of Froyo mods via kitchen. I am sure a few others members can verify the clock color is not changed via kitchen, unless you do it yourself. Of-course if you are using a rom that had the clock already modified white, it will stay white.

This.

Have also made many, many themes via kitchen. Clock always comes out black. If you went from the original version of Harmonia did you download one of the black status bars provided in the links? Those were made by Takenover83 (I think) so theres a chance is was probably already modified with the services.jar mod, therefore you never actually thought you made the change yourself and that's is why it continued to be white when you made themes.

Since we are on the subject I have a question that's been on my mind for awhile just haven't tried it.
Can you safely flash over "theme" bars from other roms. Like from Harmonia or Rodimus to another like BB?

If the rom is pretty much stock, yes. If it is modified a ton, most likely not. I would say from Harmonia to BB would be ok.

this woked 4 me i don't know about any1 else i thought i would share

always MAKE A BACKUP B4 HAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
anyway

what u can do b4 submitting ur theme 2 the kitchen is grab Rodimus black & white theme or the black & blue theme & pull the framework-res.apk from any 1 of those themes (inside the zip go to system>framework>& the framework-res should b there) then go to the file upload tab in uot under upload your own files select the framework-res u pulled out of the Rodimus theme finesse ur status bar mod THEN submit to the kitchen

after its finished pull out the framework.apk out of the uot file
move it 2 the framework folder in romtools, open Romtools then choose option 6

it will reboot then HOPEFULLY whaaaaaalaaaaaaa ur mod is applied

Yeah I tried flashing Rodimus black/white straight over. Like the status bar and the lock screen it comes with. However doing so ruined the power button in BB. Made it do a force quick reboot instead of even the normal 3 options. That seemed like a weird bug. I'll have to try your way tomorrow. :)

Ok so the reason it was working prior to this was I was running one of the status bars takenover83 made. So when I made UOT ones it kept the white due to having his bars there in the first place. Thank you all for fixing this for me.

Edit* worked like a charm. I flashed Takenover83's bar first then flashed the UOT bar and everything is working good again. Thank you all for pointing me in the right direction.
