Update 5.9.901?

I have the 893 and want to manually install 901. My phone is rooted and I used Titanium Backup to freeze the bloatware instead of moving or removing it. Do I have to defrost all that I froze before I try to install 901?

Also, (a newbie question). I installed clockworkmod recovery and made a nandroid backup. Does having this mean that if the 901 becomes just a leaked update(although I believe what everyone is saying in that VZW will have to support it since they temporarily sent it out OTA), I could use that backup and go back to stock 893? Or since the bootloader is locked, even a nandroid backup is not complete to restore back to 893?

Yes, you need to defrost all frozen apps or the OTA will fail.

No, a nandroid won't get you back. It will restore your system, but not your kernel, however there is a way back to the ota path, after which you could probably restore your nandroid backuo and be ok.

im a little late to the 901 party and was wondering if i can apply forever root after the flash with rsd and then get to 901
