Update android 4.1.1 Jellybean. Help!

Alright, So I have a Visual Land Prestige 7 and I really would like to update it to a newer version. When I go to software update, It says please have update.zip in nand or SD card. I have an SD I can use. Can anyone help? It's stuck on Jellybean. Is there anyother way I can update it? Jellybean really is bad.. Thanks.
