Update camera firmware on Froyo?

I downloaded Froyo onto my phone and I'm loving it. I like how everything is running, but the other night I went to use the camera and it gave me this warning.

The firmware is not latest
Do you want to update now.

If I say yes, will it mess up my phone? what should I do?

I had to do the update for the firmware also once switching to sc froyo and it didn't mess anything up for me. It just updates the camera firmware.

Same here, no problems after updating camera firmware.

Yea, no problems here either, and if anyone was wondering, it doesn't loose compatibility if you downgrade back to 2.1. I had set my wife's phone up with 2.2, but downgraded back to 2.1 due to better battery life. The camera still works fine after having been updated in 2.2.

Got the same message today first time using the camera on froyo used it quite a bit on eclair. Was like wth did the update and didn't see a change so on well

It adds geotagging support, which is in superclean rom.
