I didn't want to do the update... But it kept promting me constantly and I broke down. Messed everything up and I got CONSTANT errors so I had to do a factory reset. Now, My battery life is absolutely horrible! I WANT MY OLD VERSION OF ANDROID BACK DAMMIT! THIS SUCKS!!!!

Can you post screen shots of battery usage? Charging to 100% and then using it until it drains to 50% or less will provide the most information.

I'm guessing rogue app or Android OS GPS usage is high.

Is this what you mean? I keep the screen at 40%. That is what I had it at before the update and it was fine.

I did a reset after the update because I kept getting an error pop up every few seconds and could not access the gallery and other apps.

Do I need to re set again?

What is your SOT? What's your total up time?

That screen shot doesn't show any issue at all. Screen is your battery drain, as expected, no other processes doing anything crazy it would seem.

This?

It went down 6% overnight.

I can tell it is much less than before the update. I have to charge 2 times a day now.

I guess I'm confused. Your screen shot shows 30+hours of up time but you are saying you charge twice a day.

I can tell you there is no way that is correct. I know what probably happened... I swapped out my extra battery.

If that's the case, the up time should have reset. You will need to charge to 100%, then use the phone until the battery discharges down to 50% or less and post screen shots.

After you accurately benchmark it... the next thing I would try is Developer options => Running services and closely monitor whats running and using RAM.

So another factory reset would not help?

Without the proper screen shots, it's hard to diagnose the issue and figure out what might help.

I haven't factory reset a device in several years to try and fix battery drain. For me that's a last resort.

My V10 doesn't have MM yet but I have 3 G4's on my account all running MM with no issue at all.

Does this help?

If you can post the main battery page with the graph, then scroll down to show the top battery usage apps/processes, then click on the first 3 or 4 that have the highest percentage and post those as well. That will give us a good idea what is going on.

Skip this one... This is old. Can't figure out how to delete it
