Android Central Question

I just got an update in my galaxy 9+ for my messages. I hate it. Its white in top, contacts with no picture have this white letter next to it and I can no longer see the name of contact as they did something to that as well. Can I go back to what it was? Whenever they do updates. They mess things all up.

What version of the Messages app are you on?
You can open Settings>>Apps, find Messages and tap it, then tap the 3 dots on the top right corner and tap Uninstall Updates.

Sounds like an issue I've had with the calendar. Update broke support for the theme I was using and buttons became white. Make sure it's not your theme.

happens to me everytime a Samsung App is updated. I just apply another theme, then reapply my original dark theme and it returns to 'normal".

So the color scheme and lack of visible "new" texts is what drove me to Textra. Are we talking themes from the Samsung store? I could never find a way to change it up to make it look nicer, otherwise I would have stuck with it.
