Update just downloaded

I noticed that my phone was warm, and realized that a system update was downloading. I got the 6.12.173 update, but I'm a little nervous about installing it. Has anyone done it yet?

I did the update and the phone for awhile had no service completely. Rebooted and then it said no sim. After another reboot and waiting about 20 minutes the phone seems to work better as far as no dropping data. Plus they added all the pretty new icons and apps.
